I recently went to the Cleveland Clinic to see a specialist. They measured the strength of my urine stream by having me urinate into a machine that measured the power of the stream. It is not a disposable single-use machine. It did not analyze the content of the urine. It did not measure the volume of the urine. It simply measure the strength of the stream as it hit. They charged the insurance provider $300 to let me pee into that machine and I had to pay $40 of it. Wow! Things are totally out of control with health care costs! Unless that is a million dollar pee into machine, it should not cost $300 to pee into it.
