Last week, I added captcha images to all the interactive content on goodstart.com. Now when you want to post a job you also have to type a computer generated word (displayed as an image) into the form. This keeps automated spam bots from posting spam because they can’t “read” the computer generated word image.
The only thing on goodstart.com that I didn’t protect was the contact form. So, what did they do you ask? The spammers posted a spam message to my contact form – essentially sending me a spam email from my web contact form. Crazy! OK, so I’ll have to add a captcha to that as well!
