I can’t believe the Cavs are down 3 to 1 against Orlando! Amazing! The Cavs now need to win 3 straight to advance – very few teams have ever done that. I’m totally bummed out.
All I want is for the best teams in the league (Lakers and Cavs) to both make it to the finals. Both teams are trying their hardest to lose games. LA and Cleveland have both been playing bad compared to their regular season performances. C’mon! Get a rebound! Make a shot! Geez.
We didn’t have any home showings so we didn’t have to clean and leave 🙂 We stopped by my parents house for a little while to show them the new car and take them for a short drive. Then we went to eat at my in-laws house. My mother in law was in pain (nerve pain in her leg) so they took her to the ER. She has a various health issues that kept her there for the rest of the weekend and still. I hope she is improving and her pain is gone by now. We ate and then drove back home. Monday we didn’t do anything except lay around all day. I’ve been watching the NBA playoffs so that has been keeping me busy at night.
We had a night out with the kids last weekend. We went out to eat by Ryan’s house and then went back to his house for the evening. The kids played with Lauren. The WII kept them entertained most of the night. The adults played LCR and had a bunch of Texas Hold-Em poker tournaments. It was a good time. We got home very, very late and the kids actually slept in late the next day. The kids did manage to leave 3 of their DS games at Ryan’s house 😦
We got this dice game from Drug Mart called L-C-R after Bret turned us on to it. It is a very simple game that involves rolling the dice and trading chips left, center and right to other players or to the pot. The last person at the end with chips is the winner.
On Tuesday I went to eat at the Paladar restaurant in Woodmere. It was fantastic. The food was so damn good. I nearly ate myself sick. We were having a night out with just the 3 W6 partners. We are starting to add talent to the w6talent.com site now. We just hung out and ate and chilled. Good times.
Last Saturday (4 days ago.. man time is just flying by) we had Bret and Mollie over to hang out. They brought their Wii to play with and the kids loved that. We played shut the box (D won twice), Monopoly (Mollie won) and Boggle (D won without it even being close). It was a fun evening.
